Location: Cork or Dublin (Hybrid)
Type: Permanent
Salary: €75,000 – €85,000 base + benefits (market estimate for senior PO roles with budget/vendor management in finance/retail)

Opportunity
A major Irish group is seeking an experienced Product Owner to manage Finance IT systems and applications across corporate functions. This role combines strategy, delivery, and vendor management, leading a small team and partnering with stakeholders to deliver high-value technology solutions at pace.

Responsibilities

• Manage Finance IT product roadmap, upgrades, and patching.

• Lead a team of BAs/Technical Analysts; mentor and develop.

• Oversee vendors, contracts, and delivery partners.

• Plan and track budgets, costs, and project timelines.

• Ensure alignment with enterprise architecture standards.

• Drive project delivery and handover to BAU support.

• Collaborate with stakeholders to prioritise initiatives and innovations.

Requirements

• IT-related degree.

• 5+ years’ experience in BA and/or Product Ownership.

• 5+ years in IT Project/Programme Delivery.

• Proven experience with budgets, vendors, and hybrid delivery teams.

• Strong skills in requirements analysis, SDLC, QA, and info security.

• Track record of delivering enterprise products to market.

• Strong collaboration and stakeholder management skills.
